Congratulations to Stephen for his SECOND win of the 2026 BJG season !!!
Joe T injured his finger on Thursday, and the injury was serious enough to sideline him on Sunday.
We now have 12 golfers and just 3 tee times.
The course looks to be in great shape, and it is a nice morning, but it will get hot as the day goes on.
And off we go…

Front Nine:
1st Place: Stephen – 35 (45)
2nd Place: Matt – 36 (47)
2nd Place: Joe A – 36 (43)
4th Place: Adam – 37 (41)
4th Place: Dustin – 37 (55)
4th Place: Rob – 37 (45)
7th Place: James – 38 (46)
8th Place: EJ – 40 (54)
8th Place: JT – 40 (47)
8th Place: Magic Mike – 40 (47)
11th Place: Rey – 41 (50)
12th Place: Joe – 42 (53)
We couldn’t believe that Stephen was playing great golf, especially after he told us how tired he was from walking with James at The Travelers the day before. Maybe that’s the secret to playing good golf... being tired.
And while it was just the front nine, we had a lot of ties. Just one stroke would have moved you up or down the leaderboard; that is how close the scores were.
So far, Rolling Meadows has not given up any birdies.
The easiest hole was the Par 4, 2nd Hole, playing at just over Par. The hardest hole was the Par 5, 1st hole, playing at almost 2 strokes over Par.
As a group, we shot 40 (49)
Back Nine:
1st Place: Adam – 33 (37)
2nd Place: Stephen – 34 (45)
3rd Place: James – 36 (44)
4th Place: Matt – 38 (49)
5th Place: Dustin – 39 (57)
6th Place: Joe A – 40 (47)
6th Place: Rey – 40 (50)
6th Place: Rob – 40 (48)
9th Place: JT – 41 (49)
10th Place: Magic Mike – 42 (49)
11th Place: Joe – 43 (55)
12th Place: EJ – 45 (60)
Adam comes out swinging for the fences to take the top spot on the back nine, but Stephen is right on his heels and just one stroke behind him.
Rolling Meadows finally gave up birdies to JT, Adam & Rob.
On the back nine, we found EJ walking the course barefoot as if he were Shoeless Joe Jackson. I originally thought that EJ had made a bad bet and lost his shoes, but it turns out he just had blisters from soccer.

The easiest hole was the Par 4, 18th Hole, playing at just over Par. The hardest hole was the Par 4, 15th hole, playing at almost 3 stokes over Par.
As a group, we shot 40 (50) and a final score of 80 (99).
FINAL SCORE:
1st Place: Stephen – 69 (90)
2nd Place: Adam – 70 (78)
