After the BJG FedUp Cup Finals, we moved on to the 2025 BJG Presidents Cup, where the Captains, Magic Mike and Adam, would draft their teams.

The first thing we had to do was the coin flip. The winner of the coin flip will have the first pick or choose the golf course.

Adam flips the coin, with Magic Mike winning the flip and taking the first pick.  Adam is picking the golf course.

After careful consideration, Adam chose Southampton Country Club as the golf course for the 2025 BJG Presidents Cup. 

I called on Sunday morning, but of course, the earliest tee time I could get was 10:32.  I then tried Mill Valley, but their phone is all screwed up.  I tried Veterans, but again, the tee time was after 10 am. 

I finally get a 9:50 first tee time at Cold Springs Country Club, 330 Chauncey Walker St, Belchertown, MA 01007.

Match One (Stroke Play) 9:50

Cart 1:  EJ (Team Mike) vs Alex (Team Adam) Handicap is EVEN.

Match Two (Stroke Play):  9:50

Cart 2:  Joe T (Team Mike) vs Rey (Team Adam).  Joe T will be Plus 4 for handicap.

Match Three (Alt Shots):  10:00

Cart 3:  James & Joe V (Team Mike) vs

Cart 4:  Adam & Joe (Team Adam).  Team Adam will be Plus 5 for Handicap.

Match Four (3-Man Scramble):  10:10 TEAM MIKE SCRAMBLE TEAM - Plus 2 for Handicap

Alt Shot Rules:  One Golfer from each team will always tee off from the odd holes, and the other Golfer will always tee off from each even hole. After the drive, each golfer will alternate shots until the ball goes into the cup.

Scramble Rules: (Same rules as we had for the Pan Am)

1. The chosen ball does not move and is played as it lies.

2. The lie must be the same for each golfer on the team. If the chosen ball is on the fairway, all balls will be hit from the fairway. The same rule applies to the rough and sand traps.

3. All balls will be hit within one club of the chosen ball.

4. The chosen ball will be hit last.

Each Match is worth ONE POINT.  If there is a TIE, the Captains will do a Putt Off.

Weather:  Low of 46°F and a High of 82°F.  There is a 7% chance of rain, and the wind is blowing from the west at 5 MPH.
