Magic Mike put up a gallant effort, but James's destruction of the back nine clearly showed that he was the better golfer on Sunday.

It was a beautiful day, unlike the days we normally have for one of our events.  Veterans Golf Course looked to be in great condition.  We would be missing Matt and Joe V for this Major.

11th Place:  Stephen – 39 (51)

Magic Mike is on fire and taking the course by storm.  EJ and James are keeping it close, and everyone else is doing their best to make it a game.

Magic Mike and Adam get themselves a couple of birdies, with James and Rob getting one of their own.

The Par 4, 8th Hole plays the easiest at just a half a stroke over par.  The Par 5, 9th Hole plays the hardest at almost two strokes over par.  As a group, we shot a 36 (47).

The back nine was no joke—except for James, who looked locked in as he prepared for his Veteran Golf Association national tournament that Monday.

For everyone else, it could have been because we had just played an Executive Par 3 Course, or it could have been the heat… or the frustratingly slow play. At first, we assumed it was a chain reaction of delays—but it turns out that there was no one in front of the group that was in front of us.

To top it off, on the 18th Hole, they were just chilling with the Cart Girl—doing shots and sharing heartfelt stories like it was a college reunion. As Iron Mike predicted, there was indeed no shortage of Bro Hugs at the finish. Five hours is a long time for a round of golf.

Joe really had a rough go on the back, carding an 11, a 10, and a 9.

Only Rob managed to get a birdie on the back.

The easiest hole was the Par 4, 16th Hole, at almost a stroke over par.  The hardest hole was the Par 4, 11th Hole, which played at 2 strokes over par.

As a group, we shot a 40 (51) on the back and finished with a score of 76 (98).
