Joe wins The Pretenders with a little help from his Driver not being awful and a little luck from the Golf Gods.
We thought we were going to have a partly sunny day, but what we got was an overcast, chilly, windy day. And since it rained all day Saturday, I knew some of the fairways were going to be wet.
We knew Joe T, JT, and Rob were going to miss The Pretenders, so those extra points were going to be nice.

What we did not know was that Joe V and Stephen would call out at the last minute. MORE FREE POINTS.
I didn't have any idea why Joe V was out, but we were all thinking the same thing when Stephen called out. However, it ended up not being a terrible day.

Front Nine:
1st Place: Joe – 33 (45)
2nd Place: Adam – 36 (39)
3rd Place: Rey – 37 (47)
3rd Place: Rachelle – 37 (48)
5th Place: Iron Mike – 40 (44)
5th Place: James - 40 (47)
7th Place: EJ – 41 (57)
8th Place: Matt – 42 (49)
9th Place: Alex – 43 (60)
10th Place: Mike J – 44 (49)
11th Place: Eric – 48 (56)
Joe was on fire playing bogey golf with his driver seeming to cooperate, at least for the front nine.
The rest of the scores are tight and competitive. Anything can happen on the back nine because it can be unforgiving.
Adam gets an EAGLE AND A BIRDIE. Mike J and Iron Mike also get their own birdies.
The first hole, Par 5, played the easiest at just a half a stroke over par. The 2nd hole, Par 4, played the hardest at almost 2.5 strokes over par. As a group, we shot a score of 40 (49).
Back Nine:
1st Place: Mike J – 34 (40)
2nd Place: Iron Mike – 36 (41)
3rd Place: Adam – 37 (41)

4th Place: Rey – 38 (48)
4th Place: Rachelle – 38 (49)

8th Place: James – 40 (48)
9th Place: EJ – 41 (48)
9th Place: Matt – 41 (48)
9th Place: Eric – 41 (49)
Mike J comes storming back from being in 10th place on the front nine to 1st place on the back nine. Again, the scores are close with a lot of ties, which is how it should be.
Edgewood would not give up any birdie on the back nine.
The 17th hole, Par 3 played the easiest at just one stroke over par. The 14th hole played the hardest at almost 2.5 strokes over par.
On the back nine, as a group, we shot a 39 (49) with a final score of 79 (95).
