Rachelle WINS the BJG Championship

Of all the scenarios I talked about in the last blog, the one that I had forgotten was that Rachelle was unavailable to play in the First Round of the FEDUp Cup because of a prior commitment. 

This meant that Rachelle had to finish in the top FOUR or she would move directly to the Legends of Tomorrow, Losers of Today.

Not only did Rachelle finish in the top four, she finished first and shot a score of 62 (85).  What a day to play your best golf!!!

Alex is crushing the front nine at Franconia, like a man possessed, but there are plenty of people hot on his trail. 

Once again, and pretty much all year long, we have a bunch of ties, which tells me that the handicap system is working.

On the front, Adam has TWO birdies, with Magic Mike, Stephen, Joe, and JT also getting their own birdies.

The easiest hole on the front was the First Hole, a Par 4 at 317 yards.  The First Hole played at just a half a stroke over Par.

The hardest hole on the front was the Third Hole, a Par 4 at 342 yards.  The Third Hole played almost 2 strokes over Par.

As a group, we shot a Par–35 (44).

The back nine was HOT and Humid.  To add to the misery, there was no wind, and the golf course crew forgot to fill their water containers.

This time, it was Rachelle who was tearing up the back nine, and like the front, she had several players trying to catch up.

On the back nine, Adam had another Birdie AND AN EAGLE!  Rey, Joe V, Joe T, and Rachelle also get a Birdie.

The easiest holes on the back were holes Eleven and Sixteen, both Par 4s, Eleven at 314 yards and Sixteen at 288.  Both of these holes played at just a stroke over Par.

The hardest hole on the back was hole Twelve, the Par 5, with double water, at 464 yards.  The Twelfth Hole played almost a stroke and a half over Par.

As a group, we shot a Par 36 (46) and a final score of 71 (90).
