Results from the Breaking Dawn Golf Tournament

After the 2025 Winter Meeting, it was time to swing a golf club and compete at the Breaking Dawn Golf Tournament.  Unfortunately, Eric could not stay, but Joe had brought his clubs just in case of such an emergency.

Teams were already assigned, and EJ & Alex set up the simulators. 

On the first simulator would be Adam’s Aces – Adam, Mike J, & Alex and Iron Mike’s Masters – Mike M, Matt, & EJ

On the second simulator, we would have JT’s Steady Strikers – JT, James, & Rachelle and Rob’s Birdie Bandits – Rob, Joe, & Steve.

Initially, I thought it was a little small for 12 golfers, but we all quickly found our spots and enjoyed swinging a golf club. 

There was some trash-talking, but overall, the level of camaraderie was high.

Front Nine:

1st Place:  JT’s Steady Strikers – 44

2nd Place:  Rob’s Birdie Bandits – 46

3rd Place:  Adam’s Aces – 47

4th Place:  Iron Mike’s Masters – 51

Back Nine:

1st Place:  JT’s Steady Strikers – 46

2nd Place:  Adam’s Aces – 49

3rd Place:  Iron Mike’s Masters – 50

4th Place:  Rob’s Birdie Bandits – 54

Adam Aces were ready to make their move on the back nine.

Rob tried to carry his team to the finish line, but the damage was already done.

Final Scores:

1st Place:  JT’s Steady Strikers – 90

2nd Place:  Adam’s Aces – 96

3rd Place:  Rob’s Birdie Bandits - 99

4th Place:  Iron Mike’s Masters - 100

For winning first place, JT James and Rachelle each won a sleeve of Pro V1 golf balls.

Next on the schedule is the BJG Pan Am - Pro AM on 3/30/25 at Rolling Meadows.

So far, we have 13 out of 16 Golfers in for the 2025 Closest to the Pin competition.
