Teeing Off For GLORY

Well, we finally made it to the BJG FedUp Cup Finals and the Legends of Tomorrow.

A major storm cancelled our 2^nd Round and the Legends of Tomorrow, so we just moved everything to September 21^st, 2025.

We have eight golfers competing for the 2025 BJG FedUp Cup Championship, and five golfers vying for the title of the Legends of Tomorrow / Losers of Today.  Unfortunately, Rob, James, and Matt will not be joining us.

We were scheduled to play at Crumpin Fox Club, but they have an event that day.  I heard a lot of good things about Crumpin Fox, and I was really looking forward to playing there.

We tried to find a golf course that was at least on par with Crumptin Fox.  We looked at the Ranch and Cedar Knob, but we could not get on there. 

I asked CHATGPT, and it recommended Gillette Ridge Golf Club, 1360 Hall Blvd, Bloomfield, CT 06002.  The cost is about $80 with a cart, and they have a Driving Range.

This course has a lot of doglegs, much like Crumpin Fox, but this course has a lot more water.  They have also redone the sand traps, well, at least the front ones. 

 It is also supposed to have beautiful scenery, so I don’t think we will be disappointed playing at this golf course. 

Because we have 13 Golfers, I had to be a little creative with these groups. 

Groups, Carts, and Tee Times: Men will be playing from the WHITE Tees, and Ladies will be playing from the GREEN Tees.

Weather – Mostly sunny with only a 7% chance of rain.  The low will be 44°F and the High will be 72°F with a SE wind at 8 MPH.

Big Y Gift Card for winning the BJG Regular Season.

PRESIDENT’S CUP:  Adam and Magic Mike are Captains, and right now, only Rachelle & Rob are not playing, leaving two teams of 7 Golfers.  Stay tuned as the Captains make their picks and a golf course is chosen.
