The TIN CUP Championship

In 2015, Broken Joe Golf added the Fathers and Uncles Invitational as our 2nd Major Championship. The problem was that our 3rd Major Championship was the American Freedom Open, which only gave us one event between the two Majors.

This year, I decided to try to space the Majors out evenly. I always knew I was keeping The Misters, The American Freedom Open, and The BJG Championship, which meant that the Fathers and Uncles would have to change.

Past Champions of the Fathers & Uncles Championship are:

Borrowing from a great golf movie, I choose the TIN CUP Championship as the name of our 2nd Major.

The Tin Cup Championship will be held on May 18th, 2025, at Chicopee Country Club, 1290 Burnett Rd, Chicopee, MA 01020.

The total points for our 2nd Major are 680. First place is worth 80 Points and 5 Points for last place.

Unfortunately, Iron Mike and EJ will not be playing, which means "FREE POINTS".

As always, the groupings for Majors are set by the Leaderboard, with the Past Champion leading us off the first tee. Rey, as the 2024 Fathers & Uncles Champion, will be first off the tee box.

CTTP: On the Front Nine, it will be the 3rd Hole, 176 yard, Par 3, and on the Back Nine, it will be the 12th Hole, 160 yard, Par 3.

Water: The 18th Hole is the only water that is in play off the tee box. The BJG Drop Zone is just on the other side of the water and to the right of the cart path. The 7th Hole water will play as a regular penalty area.
