THIS IS IT...

We have reached the final regular-season matchup and our Final Major of the year — the 2026 Broken Joe Golf Championship.
And I think Kenny Loggins describes where we are better than anyone:
Make no mistake where you are — This is it.
Your back's to the corner — This is it.
Don't be a fool anymore — This is it
Unless your name is Matt, Magic Mike, or Adam, this really IS IT!
For everyone else, there is still something to play for.
· A Major Championship.
· Playoff position.
· A first-round bye.
· A spot in the Fed Up Cup Playoffs.
· And for a few unfortunate golfers...
· A one-way ticket to the Legends of Tomorrow, Losers of Today Round.
Thirty-six holes. 960 points. One final chance.
This is it.
THE 2026 BJG CHAMPIONSHIP: The BJG Championship will be played at AIRWAYS Golf Course, 1070 S Grand St, West Suffield, CT 06093.
And because one round apparently isn't enough to settle everything...
THIS WILL BE A DOUBLE ROUND — 36 HOLES!
First Round: $38 with cart. Second Round: $35 with cart. Walking: less... probably…
The BJG Championship is worth a massive 960 total points, with 120 points for first place and 8 points for last place.
With that many points available over 36 holes, there is plenty of opportunity for the leaderboard to change.
And change dramatically.
WHAT WILL WE KNOW WHEN IT'S OVER?
By the time the final putt drops at Airways, we will have answers to some of the biggest questions of the 2026 BJG season.
1. Who is the 2026 BJG Champion?
Our fourth and final Major Champion of the season will be crowned.
Thirty-six holes.
One winner.
One final chance to put your name on a BJG Major.
2. Who wins the Race to Big Y (Dubai)?
The Regular Season Championship will finally be decided. The winner receives the prestigious Big Check and, more importantly, a $50 Big Y Gift Card.

Forget the money. It's about the prestige.
Okay...it's also about the money.
3. Who earns a first-round bye?
For the golfers near the top of the leaderboard, that means an opportunity to skip the first round of the playoffs and watch everyone else beat each other up.
4. Who makes the Fed Up Cup Playoffs?
This is where things get uncomfortable.
When the Championship ends, we will know who survives and who becomes one of our first golfers eliminated from Fed Up Cup contention.
Those golfers will move directly into the... Legends of Tomorrow, Losers of Today Round.
Not exactly where anyone envisioned themselves back in March.
WHAT WE KNOW GOING INTO AIRWAYS - A lot is still up for grabs, but we do know a few things.
MATT IS IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT - Matt has built himself a very nice lead heading into our Final Major. But is it enough?
With 960 points available, Matt cannot simply show up at Airways, pose with the Big Check, and start planning what he's buying at Big Y.
He still has work to do. And directly behind him are two guys who would love nothing more than to ruin his day.
MAGIC MIKE & ADAM ARE LURKING - Magic Mike and Adam should be in an excellent position to secure first-round byes in the Fed Up Cup Playoffs. But neither one is coming to Airways simply looking to protect a playoff seed.
They want Matt. They want the Race to Big Y (Dubai) Championship.
And they have 36 holes to go get it.
Matt may have the lead. But he certainly doesn't have the trophy yet.
THEN IT GETS CRAZY
There are only... 24 POINTS ...separating 4th place from 8th place.
That's nothing. One great round. One terrible round. One birdie. One triple. One lost ball. One three-putt. One bad decision involving a driver when absolutely nobody should be hitting a driver...
Five golfers could completely reshuffle the leaderboard before we even stopped for lunch.
And then they have to go back out and play another 18 holes.
THE PLAYOFF BUBBLE - Then we get to perhaps the most interesting battle of the day.
Rob currently sits in 12th place — the FINAL Fed Up Cup Playoff position.
And sitting behind him with one last opportunity is... JT.
Rob needs to protect his position. JT needs to take it from him.
And wouldn't you know it? They're playing together. For 36 holes.
No scoreboard watching required. Rob will know exactly what JT is doing. JT will know exactly what Rob is doing.
Every good shot matters. Every bad shot matters. And somewhere around the 30th hole of the day, I'm guessing these two guys are going to be very tired of looking at each other.
AND THEN THERE'S JOE V & DUSTIN...
Are they out? Probably.
Is it over for them? Probably.
Should they start preparing for the Legends of Tomorrow, Losers of Today Round? Probably.
But... This is Broken Joe Golf.
There are 960 points available, 36 holes to play, water hazards, BJG Drop Zones, weather, bad decisions, and a bunch of amateur golfers carrying handicaps for a reason.
So... You never know.
HANDICAPS
BJG handicaps will be used for both rounds.

As with all BJG Majors, the groups are based on the leaderboard. That means the man sitting atop the standings, Matt, will lead us off the first tee.
FIRST ROUND
Group One — 6:56 AM
Cart 1: Matt & Magic Mike
Cart 2: Adam
Well, this should be interesting. Three golfers at the top of the standings. Thirty-six holes.
The Race to Big Y potentially hanging in the balance. No pressure, gentlemen.
Group Two — 7:04 AM
Cart 3: Iron Mike & EJ
Cart 4: Rey & Joe
Group Three — 7:12 AM
Cart 5: James & Joe A
Cart 6: Joe T & Stephen
Someone is going to finish 4th
Group Four — 7:20 AM
Cart 7: Rob & JT
Cart 8: Dustin
The final playoff spot could be decided right here. Rob vs. JT. Same group. Same golf course. Same 36 holes. No hiding.
SECOND ROUND
After 18 holes, grab something to eat, recharge the batteries, complain about everything that went wrong during Round One...
And then we do it all over again.
Group One — 12:00 PM
Cart 1: Matt & Magic Mike
Cart 2: Adam
Group Two — 12:08 PM
Cart 3: Iron Mike & EJ
Cart 4: Rey & Joe
Group Three — 12:16 PM
Cart 5: James & Joe A
Cart 6: Joe T & Stephen
Group Four — 12:24 PM
Cart 7: Rob & JT
Cart 8: Dustin
AIRWAYS — SPECIAL BJG RULES
There are a few holes everyone needs to know about before we tee it up.
11th Hole
There is water behind the green. The water will be played as a lateral drop.
13th Hole — Par 3
There is water near the green. A BJG Drop Zone will be used.
16TH HOLE — SAME HOLE, TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHALLENGES
This should be fun.
FIRST ROUND: The 16th hole will be played as a... PAR 3
SECOND ROUND: Forget everything you did that morning. The 16th will now be played as a... PAR 5
As a Par 5, the stream will be played as a lateral drop. The pond closer to the green will have a BJG Drop Zone.
Same hole. Same day. Two completely different golf holes. Because apparently playing 36 holes wasn't confusing enough.
18th Hole
There is water in front of the tee box. A BJG Drop Zone will be available.
After playing 35 holes of golf, I'm sure nobody standing on the final tee with their season potentially hanging in the balance will be thinking about that water... Don't hit it in the water.
Simple.
BJG — LONGEST DRIVE & CLOSEST TO THE PIN
Our official BJG contests will take place during the FIRST ROUND.
LONGEST DRIVE: 4th Hole — Par 5 — 487 yards
CLOSEST TO THE PIN: 10th Hole — Par 3 — 127 yards
Group One will drop off the equipment. Group Four will pick everything up and return it to the clubhouse.
Adam may also set up another Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin competition during Round Two.
WEATHER WATCH
Right now, Mother Nature appears to want a spot in the starting lineup.
The current forecast calls for:
Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Showers: 50% Low: 60°F High: 79°F Winds: SSE at 5–10 MPH
Come prepared.
Thirty-six holes is a long day when it's sunny. Thirty-six holes in the rain?
That's a BJG Major.
154 DAYS
154 days ago, we kicked off the 2026 Broken Joe Golf season at our Winter Meeting.
Back then, the entire season was still in front of us.
The Majors. The bi-monthly battles. The Race to Big Y. The Fed Up Cup.
The good rounds. The terrible rounds. The birdies. The triples. The lost balls. The three-putts. The excuses. The victories. The defeats. And probably a few scores that are better left unsaid.
For 154 days, we've been working our way toward this moment.
And now...
We have arrived at our Final Major and the final 36 holes of the 2026 BJG regular season.
Thirty-six holes. One final Major. 960 points. One last chance.
When the final putt drops on the 36th hole at Airways, the 2026 Broken Joe Golf regular season will officially be in the books.
For Matt, Magic Mike and Adam, the question is: WHO FINISHES ON TOP?
WHO GETS THE 4th SPOT FOR THE BYE?
For everyone battling in the middle of the leaderboard: WHO PLAYS WHO IN THE FIRST ROUND?
For Rob and JT: WHO GETS IN?
And for all 15 golfers: WHO WALKS AWAY AS THE 2026 BJG CHAMPION?
After 154 days, it all comes down to 36 holes.
Kenny Loggins said it better than I can: Make no mistake where you are... THIS IS IT.

I will see everyone, except Joe V, at Airways... Remember, we have 8 tee times at Airways; if you cannot play, I need to know.
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
Commissioner
