As always, we start the Rider Cup off with the Draft!!!

This year Matt, Rey and I met at DD in Agawam on Saturday, just before Rey headed to his 3^rd tournament in 7 days.

Matt flipped the coin at the Fed Up Cup Tour Championship and lost, giving Rey the choice of first pick or choice of golf course.  Rey chooses the FIRST PICK leaving Matt to choose the golf course.

Matt chooses Rolling Meadows County Club, but they only had an 11am tee time so we had to go with Matt’s 2^nd choice. 

The 2026 BJG Rider Cup (4 Man Scramble) will be played at Veterans Municipal Golf Course.

Group One:  9:26

Cart 1:  Matt & Stephen

Cart 2:  Adam & Magic Mike

Group Two:  9:33

Cart 3:  Rey & James

Cart 4:  Iron Mike & JT

Rules:

 1.  The lie must be the same for each golfer on the team. If the chosen ball is on the fairway, all balls will be hit from the fairway. The same rule applies to the rough and sand traps.

2.  All balls will be placed within a scorecard of the chosen ball.

3.  The chosen ball will be marked and then hit first.

4.  If one of your Teammates does not show up, you only get 3 shots.

5.  All of Broken Joe Golf rules are in effect.

6.  All putts must be finished and in the hole.

7.  Handicap Holes will be used as the Tie Breaker.

Team Matt will wear RED and Team Rey will wear BLUE.

Weather: Mostly Sunny. A LOW OF 30F and a High of 55F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 MPH. With a low of 30F, we may see a Frost Delay.

The FINAL BJG Event will be THE WINTER CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP on Nov 1st, 2026. Please let me know if you will not be playing. I know that Joe A is out.
