And we are back...  Here is the initial information you need for the 2026 BJG Season.

1.       First, let’s WELCOME our newest member, Joe A.  Yes, I almost couldn’t offer him a membership because his name is Joe (JK).  After meeting with Joe A last Wednesday, I think he will be a great fit for BJG.

Hopefully, Rachelle will make a guest appearance late in the 2026 season.

2.       Phone Contact: The BJG text group should be in alphabetical order.

3. Schedule:  Here is the Draft 2026 BJG Schedule.

The BJG schedule is pretty much set each year.  The only thing that really changes things is when Easter falls.  Easter 2025 was on April 20^th, and Easter 2026 is on April 5^th. 

Other than that, dates are pretty close. For example, The Misters was played on 4/13/25, and this year The Misters will be played on 4/12/26.

a.      I am still working out the details for the Winter Meeting. 

b.      Because of where the Holidays fall, there are multiple back-to-back Sundays. 

c.      Where you see two golf courses for one Event, the first is Hope, and the second is the Backup. 

d.      The BJG Champions is played at Airways, but it is scheduled to be a DOUBLE ROUND.

e.      I chose The Ranch for the BJG FedUp Cup Finals because I thought we could get a decent

tee time and costs would be lower there in Oct.

f. Backup Golf Courses are:  Keney Park, Edgewood, St. Annes, and Crestview.

g.      Schedules will be provided at the Winter Meeting.

4. Tees – Everyone will play from the WHITE tees.

5.      Tee Times- No change – Tee times will be between 9 am & 10:30 am, same as last year/

6.      2026 BJG Handicaps:

7. Rules – No changes to the 2026 BJG Rules.  Rules will be provided at the Winter Meeting.

8. Membership Fee – Again, no change - $100 paid to Alex before the 2026 Winter Meeting (3/22/26). Alex will send the group his Venmo information, or you can make other arrangements with him.

Once I finalize the Winter Meeting plan, I will write the blog post.

Don't forget that Valentine's Day is this Saturday.
