EJ WINS THE 2026 SHOOTOUT

We arrive at Agawam, and the course looks good.  Unfortunately for us, it's another terrible day of weather, and it's May!!!  It is a WINDY day, which makes it COLD.  Even Matt wears pants.  Dustin still comes to play in shorts, but they are black shorts.

We have a slight delay due to a course issue, but we hope that gives us time to see the sun.

EJ starts out on FIRE, going Par, Par, Birdie.  Rob also has a chip-in birdie on the 3^rd hole.  Adam has a “welcome back” birdie on the first hole.

There are a lot of ties on the front (2^nd, 4^th, 6^th, and 9^th ), so a lot can still happen on the back.

Some of us feel like the greens were FAST and that we had trouble getting approach shots or chips to stay on the green.  Putts were also rolling out like crazy.

Joe, our 2025 Woods Shootout Champion, gets a 10 on the Par 3, 9th hole, and his day turns into a Dumpster Fire.

The Par 4, 2^nd Hole played the easiest at just over a stroke over Par.  The Par 4, 4^th Hole & the Par 3, 9^th Hole played the hardest at almost 2.5 strokes over Par.

As a group, we shot 40 (49).

Adam goes Birdie, Birdie, Birdie on Holes 15, 16 & 17.  Rob has his own Birdie on the 17^th Hole.

We did see the sun for about 6 minutes, and that was kind of nice…

The Par 5, 17th Hole played the easiest at just a stroke over Par.  The Par 3, 13^th Hole & the Par 4, 14^th Hole played the hardest at almost 2 strokes over Par.

As a group, we shot 40 (50).  We finished with a score of 80 (99).

Rey, Iron Mike, and Joe change places for 5th, 6th, and 7^th.

Only 10 Points are separating 8^th Place and 13th Place.

There is a fight at the bottom of the leaderboard, but with Adam having 4 Birdies at Agawam, I don’t think Adam will be at the bottom for long.
