The PAN AM - PRO-AM

To start our 13th season, we will play "Team Golf" using a Scramble format.  This will also act as a warm-up round after the long winter layoff.

The Pan Am: Pro-Am will be played on March 29^th, 2026, at the hardest golf course in Western MA… Mill Valley Golf Links at 380 Mill Valley Rd, Belchertown, MA 01007.

According to their website, the cost is $45 with a cart, and $30 for those of you who are brave enough to walk.

The current weather forecast is intervals of clouds and sunshine with a low temperature of 24 and a high temperature of 51 degrees.  There is only a 1% chance of rain, but the winds will be from the WSW at 10 to 15 MPH.

Mill Valley does not have a lot of water, so I don’t see the need for any BJG Drop Zones.

 Rules:

1.  The lie must be the same for each golfer on the team. If the chosen ball is on the fairway, all balls will be hit from the fairway. The same rule applies to the rough and sand traps.

2.  All balls will be placed within one club of the chosen ball.

3.  The chosen ball will be hit last.

4.  Points will be based on the Group's final score.

5.  All of Broken Joe Golf rules are in effect.

6.  All putts must be finished and in the hole.

 Points:

1st Place: 7 points for each Player in that Group

2nd Place: 5 points for each Player in that Group

3rd Place: 3 points for each Player in that Group

4th Place: 1 point for each Player in that Group

Rob will be on vacation, but Dustin has requested to be our “back up” golfer for the 2026 BJG season.

As you know, Adam and JT will not be playing on Sunday.

Rey found out on Friday that his baseball game was moved from Saturday to Sunday. Magic Mike's friend Danny has agreed to take Rey's place

We now have 14 Golfers.  That means we will go with two groups of 3 and two groups of 4.

Everyone will have a chance to win. The tape measure and paper will be next to the orange flag. Group One will drop off the equipment, and Group Four will return the equipment to Adam.

FRONT:  Hole 9 - Par 3 - 160 Yards

BACK:  Hole 16 - Par 3 - 155 Yards.  

Measure from the Flag (not the start of the hole) to the ball.

I will know more about Longest Drive / Closets to the Hole once the poll closes on Saturday.
