Chris, Joe and Vea went to Pine Knoll to get in some practice.

Chris had 8 pars mixed in with some 4s and 5s. Joe got 5 pars and a mix of 4s, 5s and even managed a 6

Vea came to practice for the Boyle Golf Tournament and this is her first time out this year. She parred the 3rd hole but had some 5s, 6s and 7s on the front nine. On the back 9 she had two 8s and a 10. She reminded me a little bit of Matt at Franconia but she didn't get a 15. Her putting was not very good. If she was short on the first try, she was not going to be short again!!! Of course this meant she was going to the other side of the green. On and around the green she reminded me of Leon except that her wedge shots were getting better as the day went on.

At the 18th hole, the Championship of the World! All 3 of us are just short of the green. Chris duffs his first chip and then 2 putts. Vea's chip was pretty good but then she 3 putted. Joe's chip was great, the ball stopped about 3 inches from the cup. Joe scores a 3, Chris and Vea get a 5.

In the end Chris shoots a 67, Joe shoots a 68 and Vea shoots a 97. Vea said that she wants 30 strokes the next time we play. I agreed, hell that's less stroke then we give Rock, Leon and Matt.
