Another Major and another win for Dave. Congratulations.
It was an interesting night at the awards ceremony.
I guess Dave had told Dan's daughter that she could hold the next trophy for him because her Daddy "was never going to win one". When Dave's daughter got upset he reminded her that the one she had at home was bigger.
Chris was very confident that he would have a great game this weekend, in fact he said that he was "back". Chris went to the driving range this week but he did not really talk about how well it went. He did come up with his new slogan which was that he was bringing the "Motion to the Ocean". Of course Dave reminded him that he was just as confident last week and we know how that went.
Dan was trying to be humble but he finally started reminding people that he was an A group player now.

Matt was bummed that he would not be in NH for golf this weekend but he did say that he would really like to play golf close to home so he can get some points and compete for the Points Leaderboard. I did not have the heart to tell him he should skip the week and practice in his yard because he could still get a point or 2 by doing nothing. The true of the matter is that, by the end of the year, he probably won't win by points anyways. I'm just saying. Hell, in a couple more weeks Dave may very well be at the top of the Points Leaderboard.
Dan and Dave did talk a little bit about their Major which will be coming up in August. They are down to about 150 different options. Maybe they should have been given the September Major.
There was a couple of other interesting subjects while we were standing around drinking beer. One was who is the better player between Joe and Jake.. The other was concerning who was playing the worst golf.
I'll leave those 2 subject alone... for now.
This will be our first out of state golf trip and it should be interesting with 6 out of 8 players making the trip. With some of the handicaps being high Dave didn't seem that concerned but why would he? It's not like we are playing a Major for a double points and a trophy.
In case you forgot: if you want to win, you gotta play better...
