After all the trash talking on Thursday which was partially due to from last Tuesday’s blog post, Joe knew that he had to bring his “A” game. He also knew by looking at Chris’s up and down scores that he would probably shoot around a 101. That has just been his game as of late. Joe went with my Boston Bruins bag and my Boston Bruins golf shirt just to throw off the Flyers fan’s game.

The front nine wasn’t too bad and at the turn Chris and Joe were tied with a 51 and Leon had a 60. There was still hope for the back nine.

Things were going pretty good until Chris hits a tee shot almost 90 degrees, right at a tree and then into some high weed deep crap. His 2nd shot went right too but not nearly as bad as the first shot. When we get to his 2nd ball Chris is pissed because we went by his first ball. I thought he drove by it on purpose but I guess not.

When we get to the green the arguing starts. Poor Leon is caught in the middle again. It was like a Snickers commercial except it wasn’t the Brady Bunch it, was Matt and Rock arguing from last week. Leon needs to have snickers in his bag from now on. Chris gets a 9. Hindsight being 20/20 we probably should have looked for Chris's lost ball because for Chris it isn’t about the ball, it's about the search for the ball.

Things blow over by the 15th hole because now we all have a common enemy, a 185 yard par 3 over water. You laugh but I have seen people get 10s on this hole. Leon’s first tee shot goes to the right and into the trees. Joe hit his 5 wood but it goes low hits the water and skips out on to dry land. Chris hit an iron and his ball does the exact same thing. Damn that was close.

The true down fall for Leon on the back was the 10s he got on the last three out of four holes.

On the back nine Joe shots a 43, Chris has a 49 and Leon has another 60. Final score – Joe 94, Chris 100 and Leon 120.

On a side note, last week Leon was telling the story about the new car he wanted to buy, a VW Eos hardtop convertible but in the end his wife said no.

The good news is that Leon’s wife did let him buy a new car and he is picking up today. What special car did Leon’s wife agree to let him buy you ask… a Buick.
