New Sheriff in Town?

This Sunday, the group will be playing at Westover Golf Course. Unfortunately we will be missing 2 players, Jake and Dan.

This will Jake’s third week off and Dan’s second. Jake has to watch his kids and Dan has another Birthday Party (how many people does this kid know?). With Dan out, that will only leave one Wonder Twin at Westover.

With Jake and Dan out, that left 2 openings. One of those spots was filled pretty quickly. Kurt has stepped up to take his nephew’s place. This should make for some pretty interesting match ups.

Dave VS Kurt

Let's compare Dave and Kurt scores from last week at Vets. On the front nine, Dave had a birdie and 5 pars for a 40. On the back, Dave had a 7 to close the back with a 47 and a total score of 87. Kurt had 5 pars on the front and scored a 43. On the back Kurt got a triple bogey and finished with a 47 for a total of 90. This should be a good match up. I am almost thinking about giving Kurt 3 strokes. Dave, here comes some competition. Could there be a new sheriff in town or will this be old lion verses young lion. Somebody better bring a box of Kleenex to wipe those tears. (Leon might have a snickers bar)

Joe VS Chris

Over that last 5 weeks (not counting the last Major) it has been a seesaw battle:

7/8/15, Kingston – Joe 103 to Chris’s 112 (Joe by 9)

7/26/15, Vets – Chris 91 to Joe’s 100 (Chris by 9)

7/31/15, St Annes – Joe 94 to Chris’s 100 (Joe by 6)

8/16/15, Mill Valley – Chris 102 to Joe’s 103 (Chris by 1)

8/22/15, Vets – Joe 98 to Chris’s 108 (Joe by 10)

History would say Chris will win but which Chris will show up? The 112 Chris or the 91 Chris

Matt VS Rock

The last time they both played at the same time and on the same course (7/26/15 at Vets) Matt won by 1 (Matt 120 vs Rock’s 121). However, the last time Matt played (Mill Valley) he shot a WHOPPING 137. Now compare that to Rock, where he scored a 113 and a 110 in his last two outings. Matt could be in trouble.

Yes, Westover should be very interesting. Anyone taking bets?

Before anyone reminds me that I forgot Leon… Leon will be playing with himself, I mean by himself.. Do me a favor and keep an eye on Leon’s cart because sometime he does like to walk away from it.

Don't feel bad for Leon, unlike 5 of you, he has a trophy.
