So here I was working on my victory speech ( I have as good a chance as anyone)

when I thought about something that happened last Saturday at Veterans. Me, Dave and Leon all had a score of 78 at the end of the round. So, what if there is a tie? What if we need a playoff?

It’s already going to be a long day…

We probably won’t be done until 6:30 if it plays out like it did last weekend. So what do we do if there is a tie. I, for one, don’t want to have to call the Competition Committee at 6:30pm on a Saturday night after playing two rounds of golf.

So I ask you to think about that question. We can talk about it Thursday night at Chris’s house or you can text your ideas to me.

In PGA golf, you have a playoff hole but that is hard to coordinate when you are working with handicaps. We could make them play on Sunday. They could play Pine Knoll on Sunday. We could have even have a putt off but that seem anticlimatic after 2 rounds of golf for the Winter Classic Championship.
