On Thursday, Matt was presented his Fantasy Football Trophy by our absentee Commissioner. Yes, another trophy to go with the Winter Classic Golf Championship. Congratulations.

But not everyone is happy. Matt had upset the balance of nature. Mother Nature called “bullshit” on Matt’s first win and refused to let winter arrive to Western Massachusetts. In Amherst, where record keeping began in 1836, this winter was the warmest ever recorded.

Of course this screwed up Leon’s winter hibernation

and we actually heard from him before April.

The nice thing about the warm winter was that we did get out on the golf course in Jan. We had a tee time scheduled for Saturday where the temperature was supposed to be 47 degrees. Then Matt received his 2nd trophy on Thursday night and Mother Nature lost her mind again, dropping 5 inches of heavy wet snow on Friday. So much for golf on Saturday.

Fortunately, my wife created my very own golf habitat so I can practice (as well as the other Broken Joe Golf members). Obviously she is still disappointed in my performance. Yes, my performance on the golf course, smart ass.

Speaking of disappointing performance, Chris has finally and officially moved in to his new home in the Acres.

What most people didn’t know was that when the Pine Point Community Council heard about Chris’s loss to Matt they asked him to move to the Acres. After Matt’s 2nd trophy the Pine Point Community Council decide that Matt’s new title should be the “Prince of Pine Point.

and what is the day of that new holiday…? April 1st of course.

Rock and Meg got married. (We all had a great time)

Dave is doing well in school

and Dan hasn't had to go to a Birthday Party in a while.

It's almost time to start the 2016 golf season. Soon we will be meeting with the Executive Committee to working out the 2016 rules and schedule. See you all soon.
