Chris and I had taken a major ass whipping the last time we were at Veterans but because of the different golf courses that we have played so far this year and the fact that some of them were not close, we decided to move the Major back a week and play Veterans Golf Course this week.

Even though this is supposed to be one of our home courses, none of us played exceptionally well. Matt did score par twice by playing only 18 holes, I guess that is exceptional.

At the end of the round, Leon (Score keeper) and I added up the scores. I told he could give it to me at the clubhouse while I put my clubs away. When we got to the club house, Leon could not find the score card. He search the area where we dropped of the carts, even the trash cans. I told Leon not to worry about since I had already verified the scores on that card but Matt was riding him like a whore on a Friday night after pay day. You could see the whole time that Leon was disappointed with himself and especially for giving Matt something to ride him about. On the way out, Leon had not given up hope, checked the different trash cans on the way to the parking lot and LOW AND BEHOLD, he found it... He had to go deep but he was able to save his good name.

THE RIDER CUP: Sunday morning , June 4th 2015, we will have our 3rd Major – The Rider Cup (Alternating Shots) at Cold Springs. The teams are:

Group A:

Cart 1 - Dave & Matt

Cart 2 – Jake & Dan

Group B:

Cart 3 – Joe & Rock

Cart 4 – Chris & Leon

Points will be at a premium for next week’s Major. Leon current holds a 17.5 point lead over 2nd place. A good showing here will definitely move the points around... as long as Leon does not win again
