Coming Home (Franconia)

It has been a long season but we are “home” for a total of 4 weeks.

Chris, Joe, Jake and Leon played the first week at Franconia last Saturday. The last time we played Franconia was Week 7 which was April 30th. That is 113 days ago which is almost 4 months. During that last round in April, Jake shot a 93, Joe shot a 94, Chris shot a 110 and Leon shot a 121.

Franconia was in great shape and while we may have had a bad hole or two it was good to be “home. The nice part was that even if you were left or right, you usually still had a play on the ball.

After 9 holes the scores were close.

Jake and Joe were still tied after the 17th hole. On the 18, Joe's putting goes to crap and Jake wins by 2.

Chris and Leon: Chris was up by 2 at the turn but Leon doesn’t give up and keeps himself in the game. By the 15th hole Leon is still down by one. Chris and Leon tie on the 16th hole and Leon gets a stroke on the 17th hole to tie it up. On the 18th hole they both get a 6 and finish in a tie.
