Rock came, he saw and then he crushed Franconia with a score of 99. Congratulations to Rock for entering the land of the 90s and playing better golf. Rock also moves from 4th place to 3rd place on the Leaderboard

For the 2nd week in a row, Franconia has given up a handicap round of 66. Leon shot a 66 last week but then the ghost of Leon’s past (2015) showed up and he shot a dismal 118. In fact, on one hole, Leon hit a tree for negative yards and then the cup rejected his putt like a professional basketball player.

Chris, Joe and Jake once again shot in the 90s. This week Joe dropped 3 strokes going from 96 to 93. Jake gained a couple of strokes by going from a 94 to a 96. Chris dropped 8 strokes going from a 99 to a 91.

How do you know the Winter Classic is only 5 weeks away? Chris shot a 91.

Dan and Dave played in a tournament on Saturday, trading in a chance to play a home course to play 8 holes over 4 hours in the scorching heat at noon for big money… At least Dan wasn’t a bride’s maid this week.

Rumor has it that David is returning from his 2 week sabbatical from golf with the hope of finding his mojo. Dave hasn’t won since his victory at Shaker Farms in June. Dave also hasn’t won a Major since July 2015 even though his mom said he was the “greatest golfer in East Longmeadow.”

Matt continues his road to recovery but the pain must be terrible due to amount of “medication” he has been taking and the sleepless nights (texting us at 3am).

I also want to congratulate Leon for stepping up his mode of transportation. Last year Leon step up and purchased the sensible and practical Buick. Leon is now the proud owner of …

And yes, it's for his wife too.
