THE RETURN TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED

The 2016 Broken Joe GOLF trophies and awards have all been passed out; by now the tears should be dry.

The 2017 Handicaps are posted along with the rules and the schedule. That can only mean one thing, the new golf season is about to start.

First on the schedule is the never scheduled and always last minute, Florida International Golf Cup.

Big Daddy is the reigning International Champion. He beat Joe in 2014 to give him the name “Broken” Joe. He then beat Party Man Dan in early 2016. Chris is a great out of state champion.

With all of that said, 2017 is a new year and Big Daddy isn’t who he used to be. Like the maximum speed limit from 1974 to 1986, Fifty Five was as good for Chris as it was for America’s highway system. Plus they both ended up with lots of gas.

A tale of the tape if you will.

In 2016, Chris had a whopping 106 average score and an average handicap score of 80. Hell, he shot in the 120s THREE times. What’s up with that????? Matt said he wasn’t surprised that Chris did not win anything the way he played in 2016. Dan did in 2016 what Chris could not do in 2015, win the Winter Classic and bring back honor to the Carabine family name.

Joe, on the other hand, won his first individual Major (Freedom Cup) in 2016. He also won the Rider Cup (with the help of Rock) and the Broken Joe Championship in back to back years. Joe also replaced Chris as the number 3 Golfer at Broken Joe Golf.

Chris was instrumental in helping with handicaps and even planned the 2017 schedule. With these changes he believes he could be the best golfer at Broken Joe Golf. But first thing first – Florida – International Trophy - Mano e Mano,

Brother vs Brother…

Let the competition start… Who knows, maybe by the time I get back the league will be called Busted Daddy GOLF.

It has been just reported that Party Man Dan will be competing in the Florida International Championship. The 2016 Winter Classic Champion lost in this event last year but is now looking to add another trophy to his collection

Making a last minute deal, Teflon Dave has somehow convinced his wife to let him compete in the Florida International Championship. Dave, a two time Winter Classic Champion, has seen a dry spell over the last 2 years where he has failed to win a single major. Maybe this is what Dave needs to kick off the 2017 Broken Joe GOLF season.

No matter how you slice... someone's feeling will be hurt
