The official start of our golf season starts on Saturday but before we get to that I need to close the loop on some things.

Still waiting for money from some players which means I cannot order all of the trophies yet. Let’s try again this Thursday.

This Saturday, each player will put in $1.00 for the event. Bring cash or you won’t be eligible for the event. Joe T and Matt T are paid up for the year.

Clarifying a rule:

Joe T KNEW he could not play this Saturday so he asked to play last Saturday (an Off / Practice / Make Up week) which was good because he still was able to play with the group and we will not have to wait an extra week for all of the scores.

On the other hand, a player DID NOT KNOW if he would be able to play this week so he wanted to count his score just in case. This is not allowed because if this player scored poorly he could come back again the following weekend or if he scored well then he could just stay home. I’m not staying the player would do this, I am just tightening the rule so we don’t have to worry about it.

Rule - A player has to KNOW if he will not make the scheduled day of golf in order to play the week before. If the player DOESN”T KNOW they we just wait and see. If the player does ended up missing the scheduled round then they can play for score on the following weekend which is another off / practice or make up weekend.

I will make 3 tee times on Saturday. Right now it looks like it will be partly cloudy with a high of 58. I am thinking a 9am tee time but we will see. I'll let you know more on Wednesday.
