At the end of the day, it seems that Jake was more Sergio Garcia then Brendon De Jonge, by claiming his first Major, The Pretenders.

Not only did Jake win, he also placed himself firmly back into position as the number 2 golfer in Broken Joe Golf, after getting a scare last week from a strong showing from Chris, Joe and Joe T.

Jake shot a score of 84 and a handicap score of 63 (8 under). Of course, this means that his handicap has dropped to 18 but I am sure Jake will be happy with that handicap and getting the monkey off his back.

Eric also had a strong showing by scoring 100 and a handicap score of 66 (-5). We will see his handicap drop again as he continues to get better.

Dave was in old form as well, shooting an 84 but if he wants to win he will have to do better than that. His handicap score of 70 (-1) was good enough for 3rd.

Chris and Joe continue to battle it out and both shoot 93 but the handicap puts Joe ahead with a 72 (+1) and Chris with a 74 (+3).

Rock, who was just crushing some of his shots, scores a 101 and ties Chris for 5th with a 74 (+3)

Joe T finally falls off the pace and shoots a 97 and a handicap score of 76 (+5).

Matt T has a good enough round to remain competitive with a score of 112 and a handicap score of 77 (+6)

Party Man Dan has another case of the yips and shoots a 113 and a handicap score of 87.

Matty Ice shot a 124 and a handicap score of 88 which is better than his week 2 score but still way off the mark to his magic number to par (107)

The mystery man, Ray-Ban, shot a 114 and a handicap score of 90 (+19). Ray can find a lost ball like nobodies business but he is going to need someone to show him how to use those new clubs. Maybe he should ask Matty Ice.

Bryan had a tough outing scoring two 9s and a 14 on the back nine to finish with a 116 and a handicap score of 91 (+20).
