Well it is that time of year again; Grudge Match III (2017)

Last year Ronnie Ruger and Daddy Two-Guns put a serious ass kicking to the elderly brothers.

In fact, the brothers lost to Freak and Frack by 11 strokes, and it was ugly.

BUT THAT WAS LAST YEAR…

This year my partner has finally accepted his age limitations and is once again playing good golf. Joe has not been playing great golf but he has turned his driver around (for the most part) this year. This should be our year.

Dave has not played great golf since joining the work force and having his 2nd child. In fact, I think the Grudge Match may have been the only match that Teflon Dave won last year. And if memory serves me correctly, Matty Ice blew his load at last year’s Grudge Match because just a few short weeks later he pulled out of competition for the rest of the year. At the time Matt was averaging 127 swings per round and a handicap score of 91. In full disclosure, Dave and Matty Ice did play to a four way tie for 1st Place in week 7 so I guess they that have that for them going in to the Grudge Match.

The bottom line is that after getting our ass beat 2 years in a row, this is no longer a Grudge Match… this time it’s PERSONAL.

The Grudge Match is scheduled for July 29th at Veterans Golf Course. I will make tee times on Wednesday. If anyone is interested in calling someone out, let me know by Tuesday afternoon.
