After finishing the 2nd Major, it’s time to relax a little bit and have some fun.

The “3 Club Challenge” was originally supposed to be played at Mill Valley but changes to the way they take tee times made it impossible to get three tee times for Sunday.

The “3 Club Challenge” will now be played at Southampton Country Club on Sunday, June 24th, 2018.

The “3 Club Challenge” is played just like any other Broken Joe Golf event and all of the rules still apply. The added rule is that you can only bring 3 clubs with you on the golf course. You choose which three and then leave the rest in your car or at home. And no, you cannot borrow a club fron another player.

The “3 Club Challenge” is our 2nd Tournament (the first being “The Pretenders”) and is worth a total of 200 Fed Up Cup points. Chris is our current 3 Club Champion and in fact, won this event shooting a score of 90. Rock won this event in 2016 and Chris won the very first “3 Club Challenge” in 2015.

The Fed Up Cup points will be at a premium this week with only 10 points separating the first 5 golfers there could be some sad faces from the people that chose the wrong three clubs.

1st Place: Chris - 172 points

2nd Place: Dave - 166 points

3rd Place: Jake - 164 points

4th Place: Joe - 163 points

5th Place: Rock - 162 points

We have decided that the high scoring golfers from the “Fathers and Uncles Invitational” can play from the yellow tee boxes this week but the “3 Club Challenge” scores, no matter how bad they are, will not get you to the yellow tee boxes for the “American Freedom Open” at Veterans. Yes, that’s right; we will all play from the white tee boxes at Veterans. We will also move the "Longest Drive" and "Closest to the Pin" to Veterans.

But don’t sweat that right now. Between the “3 Club Challenge” and our 3rd Major, “The American Freedom Open”, is the “Championship of the World” at Pine Knoll.

Right now the question is who will be the “King of 3 Clubs”?
