2018 “American Freedom Open”, is Sunday, June 15th, 2018.

The "American Freedom Open" is our 3rd Major. It is our most patriotic event, and occurs near our nation's Independents Day. This Major is always played at Veterans Golf Course in honor of the men and women who serve our Country. This Major occurs around the same time as the PGA's Open Championship (July 19-22, 2018)

Past American Freedom Champions are:

2015 – Teflon Dave

2016 – Broken Joe

2017 – Mr. Eric

For the first time in a while, we will have all of our clubs at our disposal. This will also be our first time back to one of our home courses, Veterans Golf Course, and everyone will be playing from the white tee boxes. This Major is worth a total of 500 Fed Up Cup points.

We still have the "closest to the pin" and "longest drive" money from the Fathers and Uncles Invitational. Closest to the Pin will be the par 3, 7th hole and the longest drive will be the par 5, 12th hole. Rock, Joe, Chris, Jake Adam, Dan and Joe T are already paid.

Including this Major, there are only 3 more rounds before we get to the Fed Up Cup Playoffs (American Freedom, Match Play and BJG Championship) and every point will be needed if you plan to be one of final 8 golfers.
