"Hickory Ridge Golf Club Massachusetts' Premiere Semi-Private Golf Club offers both its members and the public an exceptional club experience. From the immaculate and challenging Cornish/Robinson designed golf course to our spectacular clubhouse, Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst, MA is the one club you've been waiting for."
Yes, I know, I thought we were playing Wyckoff Country Club too. I called them Monday morning at 7:30 but the phone went to the answering machine. I called again at 7:45 and 8:00. At 8:20 I finally left a message. By noon, I realized that they had not called me back so I called them again. The woman who answered the phone said I needed to call a different number. I should have asked her why she didn't call me back...
I call the other number and a guy answers, I say "I need 3 tee times for Sunday". He asked me what time I was looking for and I said "7am". He said "we have a tournment that day ugh but it may get canceled". Their website did not have any mention of a tournament going on but who cares, I need to found anouther golf course.
I quickly remember that we have not played Hickory Ridge, the golf course that "took our soul" the last time we played there which makes it a perfect for the first round of the FedUp Cup.
I gave Hickory Ridge a call, let them know I need 3 times and the man tells me they are having an 8am shotgun. I say sure and give him my name.
I also decided to shake things up by having Uncle Mikey draw the names for cart assignments. Unfortunitely, I screwed up the video and now I have to do it myself.
In case you didn't feel like watching the video, here is the Cart Assignments.
Group One:
Cart 1: Rock & Dave
Cart 2: Dan & Joe T
Group Two
Cart 3: Bryan & Joe
Cart 4: Jake & Chris
I did get 3 groups for Sunday so Adam and Jon can play, just not for the FedUp Cup Playoffs. That is unless someone, for whatever, can't play Sunday at 8am at Hickory Ridge.
Adam and Jon, let me know if you going to make it to Hickory Ridge on Sunday. If you aren't going I will cancel that last group.
Good Luck and I hope you "play better golf".
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
