We have two tournaments before our 2nd Major. They are the “3 Club Challenge” and the “Chosen FORE” (Alt Shots) but don’t forget, our 2nd Major, the Fathers, and Uncles Invitational in is NH. The “3 Club Challenge” is played just like any other Broken Joe Golf event and all of the rules still apply. The added rule is that you can only bring 3 clubs with you on the golf course. You choose which three and then leave the rest in your car or at home. And no, you cannot borrow a club from another player.

The “3 Club Challenge” is our 2nd Tournament (the first being “The Pretenders”) and is worth a total of 200 Fed Up Cup points. Dan is the defending 3 Club Champion. Chris has won this event this twice (2017 and 2015) and Rock won this event in 2016.

This year the “3 Club Challenge” will be played at Veterans Golf Course on Sunday, May 19th, 2019.

Jake informed me that Cody will be joining us for the 3 “Club Challenge” and we will find out on Sunday if he is joining our league for the 2019 season. With a 10 handicap, it looks like he will have -12 BJG handicap. Dave may not be our number one handicap golfer anymore.

While Dave currently has a commanding lead with 20 Fed Up Cup points over second place, there are only 24 points separating 2nd place through 7th place so points will be at a premium this week. There could be some sad faces from the people that chose the wrong three clubs.

The question is who will be the 2019 “King of 3 Clubs”?
