When we first started playing golf, we played a lot at Pine Knoll. I was tired of getting my ass kicked each time, so I made the suggestion that the first 17 holes were only practice. If you wanted to win, you had to win the 18th hole, and that is how the "Championship of the World" started.

We will tally the score from all 18 holes to figure out the Fed Up Cup points, but if you want to be the "Champion of the World," you are going to need to win that last hole, alone and to be the last man standing. Depending on how many people are behind us, we will re-play the 18th hole 5 times.

Let's say 5 people tie with a score of 4 on the 18th hole. Those 5 people will go back to the 18th tee box and try again. We will keep this up until we have a winner or we have tried it 5 times, after that, we will have a putt off, and the winner will be crowned "Champion of the World."

All Broken Joe Golf rules apply with the additional rule being that everyone will play from the Pine Knoll tee boxes. Your ball must be in the tee box. You can put the ball on the tee or on the artificial turf, you can stand off the tee box, but the ball must be within the tee box. Since it is a Par 3 golf course, we will not be using Broken Joe Golf handicaps.

Fenway Golf /Knoll Par 3 address is 112 Allen St, East Longmeadow, MA. We will meet at Pine Knoll at 9:00 and we should be done by Noon.

Jake is the current "Champion of the World," and Joe had the lowest total score so they will be in the first group. Everyone else is assigned by random drawing.

The Championship of the World is worth 200 total Fed Up Cup points with 10 of thoses points going to the winner of the 18th hole and the rest of the 190 points split from 1st place to 16th place based on lowest score.

Groupings for the "Championship of the World,"

Group One: Jake, Joe, Rey, and Rock

Group Two: Jon, Chris, Steve, and Adam

Group Three: Cody, Chris C, Dan, Joe T

Group Four: Nick, Matt, Byan, and Dave

As a reminder, the American Freedom Open is July 14th, 2019 at Veterans Golf Course. That's right boys, we are finally going back home. The American Freedom Open is worth 700 Fed Up Cup points.

Respectfully,

Broken Joe Commissioner
