It was a beautiful day to have the double round BJG Championship. The day (6:00 am) started out in the high 50s and slowly warmed up as the day went on. You could not have asked for a better day.

We get started a little earlier than our scheduled tee times, and that is a good thing because we have 36 holes that we need to get through.

Round One (Big Guess since not all cards were marked Rd 1 & Rd 2)

Steve comes out strong and leading the pack. Dave and Cody shoot 88s, but with their handicaps, they are back to being mere mortals.

Round One Scores (Actual)

Steve – 93 (96) Dave – 94 (88) Jake – 94 (91) Bryan – 95 (95) Joe T – 96 (96) Chris – 97 (97) Joe – 97 (97) Rock – 97 (100) Dan – 98 (101) Rey – 98 (101) Cody – 100 (88) Adam – 102 (108) Chris C – 106 (106) Nic – 108 (111) Jon – 109 (115) Matt – 121 (127) Round Two Round Two starts with a BANG as Bryan and Jon have to drop out plus Joe hits the wrong ball on the first hole and starts a controversy.

After much “discussion” it was informally determined that Joe’s only penalty was the two strokes for hitting the wrong ball. Dan even phoned a “friend” for help just like they used to do on “Who wants to be a Millionaire.”

With that said, as the Commissioner and under BJG Rule 21, I have asked the Competition Committee to make a formal ruling. Stand by for this formal decision once that process has been completed. Respectfully, Broken Joe Commissioner
