As I said before, anyone of these eight players can move on; all they had to do was "play better golf." It was a little bit of a cluster when the starter wanted us to start early, but we were able to get it together and get the groups out as planned. Front Nine Scores: 1st – Jake – 41 2nd – Cody, Dave, Dan & Rey – 45 6th – Joe – 49 7th – Chris - 57 8th – Joe T – 58 Jake sets the pace with a birdie and two pars. Dan and Cody are playing neck and neck; they both have three pars. Rey and Dave are also neck and neck with each only getting one par. That leaves a four-way tie for second. Joe is on the outside looking in, but Chris and Joe T are going in the wrong direction and fast.

There is a lot more work to be done, and only four golfers will move on at the end of this day. Back Nine: Dave steps on the gas and gets six pars. Cody gets some space between him and Dan by scoring a birdie and three pars. Joe T proves why he is a "0" BJG handicap golfer by scoring two birdie and two pars. Jake and Joe get a couple of pars, but Rey is right there even after getting a 7 on the 17th hole par 3.

Dan starts to run out of gas on the back, and Chris is having such a tough day that he starts daydreaming about fishing and hunting.
