The "American Freedom Open" is our 3rd Major. It is our most patriotic event and occurs near our nation's Independents Day. This Major is always played at Veterans Golf Course in honor of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our great Country. In 2021, we continue to recognize our essential workers that provided services during the COVID19 pandemic.

2020 - Big Poppa Cody

This will be our second chance at Veterans Golf Course in 2021, and hopefully, they will have cut the rough down to something more manageable. This Major is worth a total of 840 Fed Up Cup points with 80 for first place and a measly 4 points for last place.

After this Major, there are two more rounds before we get to the Fed Up Cup Playoffs. Every point will be needed if you plan to be one of the final 12 golfers to reach the first round of the Playoffs.

Jon already has a Major win and is leading the pack in the “Race to Big Y" (Dubai) but can he handle his new handicap?

Matty Ice has the other Major win, and is just 5 points back. Does Matty Ice have anything left in the tank?

Joe has done the math and he now knows what he needs to do to win the Race to Big Y (Dubai).

Cody also has a pretty good chance to win the regular season if everything falls into place… for him.

At the other end of the spectrum, we have our first-time golfer, EJ, sitting at the final Fed Up Cup spot with Juan and Jake looking in from the outside. Who will play better golf and secure the last seat? The beginning of that answer will come this Sunday.

As you know, all Majors are grouped by the Leaderboard standings. Cody, as the 2020 American Freedom Champion, will lead us off the tee box.
