The stage is set for the BJG FedUp Cup Tour Championship with each of our final four golfers arriving at this day from different paths.
Adam played good golf most of the 2021 BJG season and in fact, was within striking distance of becoming the 2021 Race to Big Y (Dubai) Champion before Hurricane Henri came through and spoiled what was to be a great finish. Adam almost did not make it through the first round, but was able to defeat Dave in a Putt Off to move on to the 2nd round, where Adam was able to win the AMC Championship trophy.

Dave had a pretty good year during the regular season in 2021, and like Adam, Dave was right there at the end of the regular season. Dave's season ended after the 1st round when he lost the Putt Off to Adam. But the Golf Gods decided that they were not quite finished with Dave, and when Rey could not play in the 2nd round, Dave got another chance at life at the FedUp Cup. Dave played well at Southampton to secure his spot in the finals.

Joe T finished 10th in the regular season and had Hurricane Henri not made his visit to Massachusetts for the final Major, BJG Champions, Joe T could have easily missed the cut into the Playoffs. Joe T played well in the first round and squeezes in a third-place showing after the 2nd round to secure his appearance in the Finals.

Jake did not have a good year at BJG in 2021, finishing 14th at the end of the regular season. But, like Dave, the Golf Gods were not finished with him yet. Jake made the most of his new opportunity in the first round to easily move on to the 2nd round. In the 2nd round, Jake found himself way behind the 8 ball for most of the day, but Jake never gave up, and in the end, played “better golf” to secure his place as one of the Final Four. Jake also won this event in 2019.

Congratulations to each of you. In my opinion, this should be a great match.
The BJG Fedup Cup Tour Championship will be played on October 3rd at Cold Springs Country Club in Belchertown.
The Tour Championship was originally scheduled to be played at Cedar Knob but they were having an event. I called Chicopee and Westover, but they also had events. Scheduling golf near the end of the season is almost a full-time job all in its self.
Final Grouping - 9:50
Cart One: Jake & Adam
Cart Two: Dave & Joe T
I have one more tee time for Cold Springs at 10:00am. First come, first served.
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
