Before we start talking about the Winter Classic Championship, and I need to clarify a few things from the President’s Cup.
I had a long conversation with Dave and he said...
Dave waited to the last minute to tell me he could not play because he knew that Team Cody would have to take the loss, and he also thought that he would get a babysitter.
Dave DID talk to Dan on Saturday and Dan WAS supposed to pick up the Trophy but because Dan slept in and was running so late, Dan did not have time to go to Dave’s house.
DAN broke the President’s Cup Trophy after Dave had given it to him on Sunday.
It would seem that DAN throw Dave, his own twin brother, under the bus.
What is going on in this world….?
The good news is that Dan should have the new trophy to Team Cody in about a week. Thanks for doing the right thing Dan.
And now, The Winter Classic Championship.
The Winter Classic Championship (WCC) is our oldest event (2012), and for those that have not won it, our most prestigious.
The Winter Classic Championship is also our last golfing event of 2021, and the last opportunity for some of us to get a win.
This year is a little more special since it is on Halloween.

Our past Champions are:
2012 – Dave
2013 – Dave (Actually Dave won with an 8 handicap)
2014 – Joe (Dave did not play due to injury)
2015 – Matt (Chris and Matt tied and had to play a week later. Matt had a 42 handicap)
2016 – Dan (Dan and Leon tie and had to play 3 playoff holes)
2017 – Rock (All of 2017 has an asterisk)
2018 – Joe
2019 – Rey
2020 – Rey
2021 - ??????
Not only will Rey be looking to 3peat. but he is looking at 3 in a row. Of course, with his new handicap, that is going to be tough.

Just as an FYI, I am starting to look at the BJG International Championship in Feb/Mar 2022. Flights are looking pretty cheap...

Good luck, and enjoy our last event of 2021.
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
