The "American Freedom Open" is our 3rd Major. It is our most patriotic event and normally occurs near our nation's Independents Day.

This Major will be played at Veterans Golf Course in honor of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our great Country.

Yes, we were supposed to play at Westover Golf Course, but they did not want to answer their phone on Sunday or Monday. I guess we will take our money elsewhere.

In 2022, we have seen a little bit of a slowdown of COVID-19, but we must now prepare to deal with Monkeypox.

Since this is a Major, 6 points go to the winner, with 3 points for 2nd place, 2 points for 3rd place, and 1 point for 4th place.

After this Major, there are just two more rounds of golf left before we get to the National Golf League Wildcard Weekend, along with the Division Champions playing for the Race to Big Y check.

As you know, all Majors are grouped by Divisions.

The Closest to the Pin is on the Par 3, 7th Hole, and the Longest Drive will be on the Par 4, 17th Hole.
