The 2022 BJG Schedule is finally completed, and I hope you are ready because we have a lot in store for you.

We have some new courses in 2022, for example, the Majors will be played at harder golf courses.

Mill Valley will host our first Major, the Misters

Tekoa will host our second Major, the F & U Invitational

Westover will be our third Major, the American Freedom Open

Chicopee will host our fourth and final Major, the BJG Championship

And we don’t stop there, the BJG FedUp Cup will also have some interesting, and challenging golf courses.

First Round – Edgewood

Second Round – Cold Springs

Final Round – Southampton

Of course, we still have our usual golf courses too, like St Annes, Agawam, Veterans, Ledges, Franconia, and Pine Knoll. Plus, we will be heading back to Rolling Meadows in CT.

Joe T had noticed that we were not going to play an 18 hole golf course for almost a month with the Championship of the World in the middle. With that in mind, I add a couple of “fun” golf events where you and a partner can earn some cash. And no, these two events have no points and they are not mandatory. They are the:

1. Two Man Scramble at Franconia and

2. The Chosen Four (Alt Shots) at Veterans

"Thank you" to Joe Willie for putting together the bulk of the 2022 BJG schedule and to Cody & EJ for their input as well. Joe Willie will also be contacting the Golf Course and making our Tee Times during the 2022 BJG season.

2022 Winter Meeting

We have found a location for the 2022 Winter Meeting at the Hampton Inn in Enfield, CT on March 27th, 2022. (Next to Longhorn Steakhouse, and no, it isn't free)

At this meeting, we will be covering the schedule, rules, handicaps and maybe the 2021 BJG Awards.

I am also thinking about having a raffle at the 2022 Winter Meeting. I think we all have some extra golf stuff that we don’t use and that could be of use to someone else. Please let me know your thoughts about having a raffle to better support the BJG fund. Again, please let me know ASAP so we can plan it all out.

The cost for the BJG Winter Meeting is $10.00 per person and bring what you want to drink (yes, you can bring alcohol). BJG will provide the food. Please pay Dan, our Chief Finance Officer, when you arrive at the meeting. Yes, attending the BJG Winter Meeting is required and it will be worth 5 points.

Dan will also start collecting the 2022 BJG fees at the Winter Meeting The prices are broken down below. Please send me your vote for A, B, C, or D. If you like the Hampton Inn than "C" should work for 2023.

*Note, if you vote for A, your house will be in the running to host the 2023 BJG Winter Meeting. *

Like I said, a lot going on this year.

Don't forget, the CT Golf Expo is this weekend. Cody, EJ and I plan on being there Sunday morning.
