2022 Victory or Valhalla

Victory or Valhalla means there are two outcomes in a battle for the Norse. That was to emerge victorious with the battle won or to die in said battle honorably with a weapon (golf club) in hand which was the only way to go to Valhalla, the warrior's paradise/afterlife.

In 2021, Rey chose VICTORY and will lead us into battle.

Because of some scheduling issues, we have had to modify our golf course locations:

8/28/22: The Victory or Valhalla will be played at Edgewood Golf Course in Southwick.

9/11/22: Broken Joe Championship – Franconia with an End of Season get-together at BJG World HQs.

9/18/22: “Wild Card Weekend” plus the Division Champions will play for the “Race to Big Y” Big Check – Chicopee

After our 3rd Major, each story has become a little bit clearer, but this could be a make-it or break-it week for some of us.

Dustin is in the moving business this Sunday, but he has already clinched his division, so…

I spoke to Cody Tuesday afternoon while he was on his way to the hospital. It would seem that Cody almost hacking off his thumb. Cody was talking about playing with one arm, but I told him he cannot return to BJG until he brings me a doctor's note.

For Dave, opportunity is knocking...

Rock has fantasy football draft (it is football season, I guess), so no golf for him.

Group Two: 8:08

Cart 3: Juan & Adam

Cart 4: Jake & Bryan (Wildcard Battle

Group Three: 8:16

Cart 5: EJ & Alex (Practice)

Cart 6: Joe & Jason (Wildcard Battle)

Longest Drive will be the 3rd Hole, and Closest to the Pin will be the 13th Hole ($40.00).

I will bring my Golf Launch monitor to the first hole. Longest drive on the launch monitor will win themselves $20.00. It does not have to be straight or in the fairway, it just has to be far according to the launch monitor.
