For our 10th year, I decided to take a chance and give the membership a voice and you did not disappoint with the course selections.

Next, I wanted to know what you thought about some rule changes. Part of my intent was to help speed up our "pace of play".

Joe T – A lost ball should only count as one stroke instead of two

Adam – You do not have to see the splash for a ball to be ruled "in water".

Bryan – No Change

Joe – Speed up the lost ball search and limit the search to just 3 minutes.

Alex – No Change

EJ – Move the ball if it is on or near a root

Cody – COVID putting rule (12 to 18 inches)

Jason – Lost ball on a Par 3. Re-tee or mandatory provisional

Dustin - You do not have to see the splash for a ball to be ruled "in water".

Rock – No Comment

Cody will review these rule change requests and then give his recommendations to the Commissioner. We will brief these changes at the BJG Winter Meeting.

Don't get your hopes up too high, we will more than likely only make a couple of rule changes. Remember, every change beings with small steps.
