For the Norse, Victory or Valhalla means a battle has two outcomes. That is to either emerge victorious with the battle won or to die in said battle honorably with a weapon (golf club) in hand, which was the only way to go to Valhalla, the warrior's paradise/afterlife.

The 2023 Victory or Valhalla was supposed to be at Tekoa Country Club but...

Tekoa County Club was recently in the news (Sunday) because the Westfield River overflowed and flooded the golf course. Since the rain doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon, we decided to be safe, rather than sorry.

We decided to stay away from Tekoa, and on Sunday, Joe T called around to get us tee times. Rolling Meadows was the only one that could get us out earlier than 10:30.

After much discussion, we decided to head back to Rolling Meadows in Ellington Ct.

The Victory or Valhalla event is worth a total of 45 Points.

Adam has previously scheduled this as an off week.

Jason is our 2022 Victory or Valhalla Champion and will lead us into battle off the first tee box.

The Closest to the Pins are Holes 3 and Hole 13. Hole 13 is worth a whopping $60.

The 3rd Hole is also the only hole that we will need a BJG Drop Zone. Cody will brief everyone at the golf course on Sunday morning. Don't forget, you must hit 2 balls into the water before moving to the BJG Drop Zone.

The Victory or Valhalla is the next-to-last event, so don’t leave your fate to the Golf Gods.

Until Valhalla… or the 19th Hole, whichever comes first.
