To start our 11th season, we will play "Team Golf" using a scramble format. This will also act as a warm-up round after the long winter layoff.

The Pan Am: Pro-Am Am Am will be played on April 7th, 2024, at East Mountain County Club, 1458 E Mountain Rd, Westfield, MA 01085. According to their website, the cost is $43 with a cart. East Mountain has a Practice Range Area.

We will be playing from the BLUE Tee Boxes (5,652 yards)

The weather is forecasted to be mostly cloudy, with a 5% chance of rain. The low will be 35, and the high 51. Winds will be to the North at around 11 MPH.

Rules:

1. The chosen ball does not move and is played as it lies.

2. The lie must be the same for each golfer on the team. If the chosen ball is on the fairway, all balls will be hit from the fairway. The same rule applies to the rough and sand traps.

3. All balls will be placed within one club of the chosen ball.

4. The chosen ball will be hit last.

5. Points will be based on the Group's final score.

6. All of Broken Joe Golf rules are in effect.

7. All putts must be finished and in the hole.

Points:

1st Place: 5 points for each Player in that Group

2nd Place: 3 points for each Player in that Group

3rd Place: 1 point for each Player in that Group

Originally, the teams were perfect, but sometimes things happen. We called everyone we knew, trying to find a 12th golfer, but it wasn't meant to be. I looked at many different "Team" groupings, but at the end of the day, I had to choose one, which is why you pay me the big bucks.

The Closest to the Pin Competitions:

Everyone will have a chance to win. The tape measure and paper will be next to the orange flag. Group One will drop off the equipment, and Group Three will return it and the measurements to Joe T.

FRONT: Hole 3 - Par 3 - 128 Yards

BACK: Hole 10 - Par 3 - 154 Yards.

Measure from the Flag (not the start of the hole) to the ball.

We have all 13 Golfers playing in this year's "Closest to the Pin.". The cost is $30 cash and is payable to Joe T at the Pan Am: Pro-Am.
