The Rider Cup is a Team event and is played in a scramble golf format.

In 2018, Team Adam defeated Team Jon and Team Dan.

In 2020, Team Matt defeated Team Jon.

In 2022, Team Rey defeated Team Rock.

James, the last-place Golfer in 2024, is the Captain of one of the BJG Rider Cup teams. Joe V would have been the other Captain, but he was initially injured, which moved JT up to become the other Captain. 

JT gave James the first pick. 

With the FIRST Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, James chooses MATT.

JT chooses to pick TWO golfers and will give James the opportunity to choose the Golf Course.

With the SECOND and THIRD Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, JT chooses ADAM and REY.

With the FOURTH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, James chooses ROB.

With the FIFTH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, JT chooses JOE V.

With the SIXTH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, James chooses MIKE.

With the SEVENTH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, JT chooses JOE.

With the EIGHT Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, James chooses JOE T.

With the NINETH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, JT chooses DUSTIN.

With the TENTH Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, James chooses STEPHEN.

With the LAST Pick of the 2024 BJG Rider Cup, JT chooses EJ.

James chooses Veteran Golf Course as the location for the Rider Cup. The Rider Cup will be played on Sunday, October 20th, 2024.

Team James will wear White or Light Color Shirts.  Team JT will wear Black or Dark Color Shirts

Rules:

1. The chosen ball does not move and is played as it lies.

2. The lie must be the same for each golfer on the team. If the chosen ball is on the fairway, all balls will be hit from the fairway. The same rule applies to the rough and sand traps.

3. All balls will be placed within one club of the chosen ball.

4. The chosen ball will be hit last.

5. All of Broken Joe Golf rules are in effect.

6. All putts must be finished and in the hole.

7.  Teams with 3 Golfers will rotate as the 4th Golfer.

8.  In the event that we have a tie, the Captains will choose their Champion to compete in a Putt

Off.

Remember that Veteran Golf Course normally likes to push us out early, so please be early.
