Here we are, the BJG Tour Championship, with just 4 Golfers remaining.

As of 10/2/24, we will be on day 206 of the BJG season and getting ready to crown our new Tour Champion. Our new Champion will have their name added to the Fed Up Cup, joining our past Champions.

2018 - Rock T

2019 - Jake J

2020 - Harry S

2021 - Joe T

2022 - Alex S

2023 - Adam T (1)

How did we get here?

Rey—Rey won the first two Majors, the Misters and the Fathers & Uncles (FU) Invitational, and then the AMC Championship.

ree

Adam—Adam won the Pretenders way back in April. Adams’s next win would be in the Quilted Northern Paper Championship.

ree

Rob—Rob has a bunch of trophies at his house. He has the Champion of the World Belt and Lowest Score Trophy, the Chubby Classic Trophy, and now the Legends of Tomorrow/Loser of Today Trophy.

JT – JT didn’t have a great year as far as trophies go; in fact, JT is a Captain for the 2024 Rider Cup.  But JT did what he needed to do to make it to the end, and that’s more than nine other golfers can say.

I think this will be one of our best BJG Tour Championships.

Congratulations to the four of you. I wish you all the best of luck.

We tried to get tee times at Cedar Knob, but Matt was right; they have league play until 11 am. I wanted the Tour Championship round to be played at a similar golf course. The golf courses that I identified were:

  1. Mill Valley

  2. Westover

  3. Rolling Meadows

  4. Chicopee

I asked Joe T to stay away from Mill Valley unless we had to go there.

Weather: Sun and Cloud mix. Low of 48F and a High of 70F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 MPH.

The 2024 BJG Tour Championship will be played at ROLLING MEADOWS GOLF COURSE, 76 Sadds Mill Rd, Ellington, CT 06029.

For the rest of you, don’t be sad. You still have a chance for glory at the Winter Classic Championship on Nov 3rd, 2024.

But before that, we have the 2024 BJG Rider Cup on Oct 20th, 2024.

PS: I did hear from Mike. He apologized for missing the second round of the playoffs and said he hopes to see us at the Rider Cup.

Respectfully,

Broken Joe

Commissioner
