2025 BJG Schedule Update: What You Need to Know

As we gear up for the 2025 BJG season, I'm excited to share some important updates about the upcoming year. Here’s everything you need to know, including new golf courses, tee time changes, and key deadlines.

New Golf Courses & Schedule Adjustments

I’ve worked hard to incorporate as many requested golf courses as possible for the 2025 season. Here’s a quick overview:

• Popular Request: A golf course that will likely have tee times after 10 a.m. has been included in the early part of the year (due to 90% member support).

• Tee Time Change: A significant number of you (60%) requested 8:30 a.m. tee times, and in response, no tee time will be scheduled earlier than 8:30 a.m. to ensure consistency throughout the season.

  
  

Backup Golf Courses

If any originally scheduled golf courses face issues, I’ve identified a list of backups. These will be used in the following order:

1. Edgewood

2. East Mountain

3. Mill Valley

   
   

Additionally, Cedar Knob will be the backup for any 10 a.m. golf course time slots.

Rule Changes

As always, your votes matter! Based on your feedback:

• 2-Stroke Penalty: 71% of you voted to keep the 2-stroke penalty rule in place for the upcoming season.

• New Divot Rule: 100% of members voted to introduce a new "divot" rule, which will be implemented during play.

• 2025 BJG Memberships Due in 4 Days: Time is running out to submit your membership for the upcoming season! If you need more time, don’t hesitate to contact me.

• BJG Winter Meeting in 18 Days: The venue is all set, and we’ve secured both simulators for 1.5 hours of use. I look forward to seeing you all there!

• 2025 Season Kickoff in 40 Days: Get ready to hit the greens! We’re just around the corner from starting the new season, and I can’t wait to see everyone in action.
