In just a short 24 days, we will be all together at the 2023 BJG Winter Meeting on March 12th, 2023. Here is some updated information concerning the meeting and the upcoming season.

12th & Final Golfer: Jason’s friend Chris is joining BJG as our 12th golfer.

Format: Since we have 12 Golfers, we decided to try the BJG divisions again. This time the divisions will not be grouped by handicaps but by golfers (hopefully) that you want to play golf with. You can chose your division name at the Winter Meeting.

Group One: Cody, Bryan, Joe T, and Rock

Group Two: Jason, Chris, Adam, and Dustin

Group Three: Rey, Joe, Alex, and EJ

Schedule: I needed to drop Goodwin Park Golf Course because it is only a 9 hole golf course. In its place, I have decided to add Tekoa County Club since they treated us so well last year, but we can talk about it at the meeting if that is a problem.

Rules: We have made three minor changes to the 2023 BJG Rules.

No, we did change the putting rule. Cody will cover the rules in detail at the meeting.

2023 BJG Memberships Fees are $60.00 for current members. Jason and Chris, as new members, will pay the $80.00 new membership fee. Membership fees are to be paid to Alex no later than March 26th, 2023, before you tee off for the Pan AM - Pro / Am which is scheduled to be played at Oakridge Golf Course in Feeding Hills.

BJG Winter Meeting: The cost will be $15. The current plan is that we will start at the Lighthouse in Ludlow for a round of golf on their simulators from 10am to Noon. They have 3 bays, so there is enough for all of us. The address is 108 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA 01056. The parking lot is tight so look for a parking spot on the street. This cost could go down depending how many people go to the simulator.

Next, we will move to the BJG World HQs for the meeting at around 12:30. The winter meeting should not take too long since we have not changed too much from 2022. Lunch will be served at the meeting. If the weather is nice, we can move the meeting outside. The full agenda will be published soon.

Please let me know if you plan to come to the simulator and the meeting or just the meeting. Alex will collect your $15 at the Lighthouse or at the meeting.

During the meeting I will cover the handicaps, and budget. Joe T is our Scheduling Director, and cover the Schedule & Closest to the Pin information. Cody is our Rules Director and will cover the Rules. Alex will be our Director of Finance and will collect the BJG money.

Sunday, March 12th, 2023 is also Daylight Saving, so be prepared to move those clocks forward.
