With the Governor’s extending the closing of nonessential businesses until May 4th, 2020, it now looks like we need to cancel "The Rosey Palmer Invitational" on April 19th.
We also have the "Misters", our first Major of the season, which was supposed to happen on May 3rd. The only way we are playing on May 3rd is if we play in CT and we walk. I am looking at moving some things around but the good news is that I have 35 days to come up with a plan (not that I need it).
I have canceled the Rosy Palmer Invitational and the Time Travelers Championship.

I moved the "Misters" (Major 1), "The Chubby Classic", the" Fathers and Uncles Invitationa"l (Major 2) and the "Championship of the World" back two weeks. I have also updated the golf courses, which I will discuss with the Scheduling Committee.

We went from 11 regular season rounds down to just 7 regular season rounds so I hope you have been practicing some golf while you were also practicing social distancing. That is if nothing else changes.
Of course, these disruptions to our BJG schedule are nothing compared to what some people are dealing with. Please continue to be safe, wash your hands and practice social distancing. We will all get through this in the next 26 days if we all do our part.
And now a public service announcement from Samuel L Jackson.
Last but not least, in an effort to still be competitive and keep our social distance requirements, Chris is working on an online “racing” competition. I hope he handles this better than he does FanDuel.
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
