Cody wins the Legends of Tomorrow / Losers of Today

Front Nine:

Cody has 6 pars and a birdie to shoot 1 over par and that’s without his handicap. On the 8th hole par 3, Cody, being in standing water, uses the rules to move his ball (no closer to the hole) and makes an incredible chip-in for birdie.

EJ has another round where he plays good golf on the front nine. I say “good” and not great golf because his only bad hole was a 9 on the 5th hole, Par 5. The main question on EJ’s mind is, Can he play the back nine as well as he played the front nine?

Joe T has a tough start, but he finally rights the ship and pars the last two holes on the front.

Joe leaves the driver at home and will use his 3 wood off the tee. For the first 3 holes, the plan seems to be working. On the 5th hole, Par 3, Joe has the perfect distance to the flag. He hits the ball, and it's straight as an arrow, and it looks great. Unfortunately, it sails the green, and that's when Joe realizes he has the wrong club in his hand. After that, it all falls to hell, but at least he’s not at work.

Back Nine

Cody continues to play good golf. On the back, Cody only has 5 pars and a birdie.

Joe plays better golf, but not good golf. Joe T and EJ are just making him look good. Joe finally gets his first par on the 14th Hole, Par 3. Better late than never…

Joe T has a really tough time through the Devil’s Corner.

For as good as EJ played the front, was as bad as he played the back. A 10, four 8s, and a 7 were going to leave a scar on his scorecard.
