It feels like forever since I last swung a golf club, but it has been less than 30 days since the BJG Winter Classic Championship.
I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for participating during the 2023 BJG season which was our 10th anniversary. That is also hard to believe.
It is now time to start planning for the 2024 BJG season.
First, we say goodbye to Jason and Cam.
For 2 seasons, Jason has been a committed and competitive member of BJG. Thank you for helping EJ and Alex get their handicaps down to an actual 36 handicap.

Cam is a great guy, but he was just too busy to commit to the 2023 BJG schedule. Thank you for giving it the old "college try" and please feel free to contact us if your schedule changes.
Next, we realize that there will be some other important changes in the lives of our current members. In 2024, there will be more babies born, and more weddings, plus as children get older, they will want/need more of their parents' time and attention.

I have finished the draft 2024 BJG schedule and I will be sharing it with the current membership within the next couple of days. Please take a look at it to see if I have missed anything and to see if it will fit your 2024 schedule.
Once that is done, I will reach out to the old BJG members to see if any of them are ready to return to BJG for our 11th season. I think there is interest from 2 or 3 Golfers.

Once we have an idea of the number of golfers we have, we will start our new recruitment drive.
The magic membership number we will be looking for is 12.
This will be the last text message from this group text and I will start a new one in the next few days.
Once again, Thank You all for being a part of the 2023 BJG season.

I hope you and your family have a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

Respectfully,
Broken Joe
