It's been a couple of months since the end of the 2019 BJG season and I think it is time to re-start the blog. I could not think of a better way to start the blog then to give you each a little Christmas gilft.

Adam – I give you the gift of speed. While you are far from being as slow as you used to be, I still hear that you are not as fast as you could be.

ree

Bryan – I give you the gift of accomplishment. You are a competitive golfer, but you have yet to make it to the end of the golf season and to play in the Fed Up Cup or the Winter Classic Championship. Bryan, the BJG season ends in Oct, not Aug.

ree

Chris – I give you the gift of Pine Knoll. A full practice round of a golf course nor a practice at a driving range would not do you any good at all, but 2 hours at Pine Knoll will help you with your short game and the yips.

ree

Cirelli – I give you the gift of hope. With the hope of a new handicap, you should be a much more competitive golfer in 2020.

ree

Cody – I give you the gift of stamina. While you are our best golfer, you do have trouble competing at a high level for all 18 holes.

ree

Dave – I give you the gift of perseverance. After having a great year in 2019, it can be hard to work that hard again, but you need to know that we will all be looking keep your wins to a minimum in 2020.

ree

Dan – I want to give you the gift of smoothness, but with that double-clutch golf swing, even I can’t give you that. Instead, I giving you the gift of practice. Embrace the swing you have in order to be a happier golfer in 2020.

ree

Jake – I give you the gift of timeliness. You are almost always the last person to arrive at the golf course.

ree

Joe T – I give you the gift of acceptance or the gift of change. After you had a breakout year in 2017, you have fallen way down the rabbit hole to a place we call "mediocrity". 2020 is the year that you find a way to once again become competitive or accept the fact that you won't be.

ree

Jon – I continue to give you the gift of "camaraderie". While you aren’t very competitive (right now), you are a good guy to play golf with, plus you don’t have to watch any kids on the golf course.

ree

Matt – I give you the gift of reality. Like Al Bundy, you are no longer the athlete you may have once been. Camaraderie is now your only option unless we give out another participation trophy (but at least its still a trophy).

ree

Nic – I give you the gift of technology. Your hybrid clubs have not done you any favors so far, and the rest of us think you are always using the same club.

ree

Rey – I give you the gift of the driving range. You continue to get better each year and you have finally won a Broken Joe Golf event. Once you straighten out that driver, we will all be in trouble (except Rock).

ree

Rock – I give you the gift of confidence. 2020 could be another good year, but you will need to be confident and believe in your game. If everyone steps up their game, you will need that confidence to stay on track and get your wins in 2020.

ree

Steve – I give you the gift of patience. With 2020 being only your second year at Broken Joe Golf, you should look to be better, but it usually takes a least a couple of years to kind of figure out what it takes for you to win.

ree

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope to see you all on the other side.

Respectfully,

Broken Joe
